Jay Alvin has started remembering his dreams.
And, hilariously enough, they all seem to be about food.

A few weeks ago he woke up crying in the middle of the night.
He was pretty much hysterical.
When I went in and asked him what was wrong he sobbed,
"Daddy stole all of my watermelon!
Now I can't eat any watermelon!"
It took me several minutes to convince him that there
was plenty of watermelon in the fridge
and he could have some in the morning.

Then two night ago he woke up at 4 a.m.
asking if he could have fishies and cake.
He was pretty upset when I told him he had to wait
until it was time to get up.
If you're wondering what my boys look like these days,
this is pretty much it:

 They're obsessed with playing games.

At least they play together, right?

I saw this on Pinterest and found it hilarious:

Why do I think it's so funny?
Look at the second sentence there.
"Swag doesn't pay your bills."
Shouldn't you be looking for someone with character?
Someone you enjoy spending time with?
Someone who will be a good example to your children?
Some of those things are bound up in the
"education, ambition, faith & goals"
part of the first sentence.
I just think it's hilarious that they end with
"because the ability to keep you from having to work
is what's important."
End of commentary.
