Friday afternoon we went sledding at Jolly's Ranch. It was our very first time going since we moved here 3 1/2 years ago, and it was Ty's second time going ever. (His first time was on Wednesday with his deacons quorum.) I was worried that Leo would hate it. (Mostly because of this incident from our trip to the state fair this past year.) But he loved it. We couldn't even get him out of the tube. No joke he would ride down the hill, usually by himself, and then wait at the bottom for someone to come down and pull him back up. Then, as soon as he got back to the top he would say, "My turn." and then point to the hill he wanted to go down. (What a spoiled kid, right?)
Jay Alvin, on the other hand, did hate it. That didn't stop us from sending him down repeatedly though. This video is of his very first ride. He's in a tube with Leo, which seems like a really mean thing to do, but we only sent them down half the hill.
Jay Alvin was the first to get too cold to keep playing, but Leo followed shortly after.
And, as always, Leo fell asleep on the way home.
*Bonus*
Here's the video of Leo's first time down the hill. He's riding with his Aunt Melissa.
Here is Leo climbing the pile of snow on the side of the parking lot:
And here is me and Jay Alvin. (Proof that I was there.)
