County Fair

We found out very last minute that the county fair was happening last weekend.
They even had a military appreciation day so we could get in for free.

Leo was very unhappy about standing near that cow.
He's pretty sure he's about to be eaten.
(He's about a foot in front of the cow head even though it looks like he is about to be eaten.)

And this is as close as Jay would get.

We tried to re-create our annual sheep picture, but no one was cooperating.
Not even the sheep.
(See past years here, here, here and here.)

We even tried with a pig instead, but that didn't really work out either.

I made everyone go to the rodeo.
Leo was especially unhappy with me.
Even after we got cinnamon rolls to eat during it.

We also did the following:
(even though I have no photographic proof)
*Rode a lot of rides
(We got wrist bands for the first time and Leo was in heaven. Jay was only tall enough for 5 things, but he had fun any way.)
*Ate deep fried artichoke hearts, pizza, clam chowder, a giant hot dog, gelato and 2 huge cinnamon rolls
*Saw the last 3 minutes of a magic show
*Rode a bus to and from the parking lot
(which was one of Leo's favorite parts)
